I will not vote for someone who DOES NOT uphold their oath to the Constitution! After all, is that not the only requirement of an elected official who swears an oath support, uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States?

So if they violate their oath, they have failed the basic expectations of their office. But how are you to be sure they won't violate that oath when such violations are not realized until after they are elected?

By taking seriously the responsibility of every citizen to vet candidates based on their actions and not their campaign promises. After all, how can We the People expect our elected to take serious their oath of office if we don't take serious our civic responsibility?

And our adherence to it is one of the biggest reasons you are reading this on the internet. Ron Paul has actually taken his oath of office seriously. I challenge you to honestly compare voting records between the candidates. Ron Paul is the only candidate whose message of Constitutional adherence has not changed just for the campaign. The only proven Constitutionalist running is Ron Paul. Why does the Tea Party tout the Constitution, but alienate Ron Paul when his consistent views entirely support the very Constitution they "champion?" Our Founders desired a Non-Interventional foreign policy because they could foresee the immense cost and dangerous entanglements it would create if we didn't. Look where we are now!

But Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama sounded great too, and look where it lead their respective countries. It is OUR responsibility as citizens to look at what they have voted for and done, look at the alliances they've made, and render our vote based upon the truth, not emotion, oratory skills, or good looks. Only after which, will you discover the foundation of their true intent and the stance they took when they didn't have to pander for your vote. That is the only reliable means to choose a candidate. Voting any other way is insane, unless of course, you don't know what you believe and you don't have principles.

Ron Paul has tied himself down with the chains of the Constitution over his last 12 terms in Congress. His voting record is public and clear. Can you make the same claim for anyone else running? Unfortunately, Jesus Christ is not a candidate. Meaning, none of them are perfect and you WILL NOT agree with 100% of what any candidate stands for, ever! But for decades, we've elected 'big government' candidates, Republican and Democrat alike; where did it get us? The 2-Party paradigm is a ruse to give the average "sheeple" the illusion of a choice. It has worked for years! But the only true choice is the freedom to choose. It's time to realize this, because its not Democrats vs. Republicans; It's Tyranny vs. Liberty.
