Barack Obama was heckled by gay activists yesterday at his Miami fundraiser at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets ranged from $44 to as much as $2,500. About 900 supporters were expected to attend. The arena holds at least 2,400 people.
WSVN reported:
The president was speaking to about 80 wealthy supporters Monday who paid $10,000 each to attend an event at the home of former Samsonite CEO Steve Green. Green served as President Bill Clinton’s ambassador to Singapore.
Obama also was attending a fundraiser at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets ranged from $44 to as much as $2,500. About 900 supporters were expected to attend.
